Few months ago, I had briefly stopped at the historical town of Sriranga pattanam on my way to Bangalore from Mysore.The Kaveri was in full when I visited Srirangapattanam. The river runs on both sides of the town, making it a river island. The main river runs on the eastern side and here are a few snap shots from its banks...
