Dinner at Burma Burma

A family dinner at Burma Burma restaurant was long overdue. Yesterday was the perfect day when we visited the Phoenix Mall of Asia. We just tried a few starters and desserts. The food is unique and if you are a vegetarian then this place will be a different experience from the usual veg menus.

Their cheese cake is a must taste dessert!

Sana di ge at Mangalore

What is a visit to Mangalore without a exploit of its cusine! The Mangalorean restaurant "Sana-di-ge" at the Goldfinch Hotel (where we stayed) was highly recommend.

I love Mangalorean food and especially its sea food menu...and the restaurant did not disappoint 😋!
The ambience was typical of the kudla restaurants we find in bangalore. The staff were very courteous and friendly.
Here are some of the best dishes we tried on our two days of stay...

The mushroom cream soup was one of the best we had tasted ...a perfect balance of cream and peppery spice!
The Squid Ghee roast was a typical Mangalorean delicacy!

Anjal (kingfish) tawa fry was fresh and perfect 👌

Crispy honey Vegetable
Squid Manchurian turned out to be our family favorite! Too good!

Squid butter pepper gravy with Prawn Ghee roast

Neer Dosa went well with all starters...

We tried a few desserts over the two days...

Carrot halwa- good but I had tasted better elsewhere.

Chocolate brownie with ice-cream - just ok

Caramel custard - perfect!

Elaneer payasam

Their signature dessert - Elaneer Payasam was one of the best I had tasted. The presentation was interesting in a coconut like pot..but the quantity inside was disapointingly less.  A must taste dish here!

Overall a great place for some excusite and fresh seafood !
