Nithila's rough note book...02

I loved these cute  Barbies, Disney Princesses and other fairytale figures... Nithila's note is full of such lively characters!

Nithila's Rough note book..01

I was checking Nithila's last year's (II std) rough note book about to be thrown away. I found lot of interesting sketches. It reminded me of my own school days when I used to fill most pages with sketches and doodles. While I used to sketch cars , super heroes, geometric abstracts and other 'boyish' subjects and Nithila's subjects are typically 'girlish' as you can see...

IIM Bangalore

Doshi delivering his lecture...

It was a refreshing evening...I was at IIM- Bangalore today to listen to India's most venerated Architect B.V.Doshi...IIM-B incidentally is one of his most famous projects...the campus is a monotone of grey stone structures in the setting of lush green landscape. The campus is just beautiful in the rains...and its even more spectacular with its shadows on sunny days! Doshi is 88 and still visibly young at heart...his talk made me feel like a student of Architecture again...!

Meenkodi Theril

meenkodi-theril-by-ashok (click to hear in sound cloud) ...a vintage Ilaiyaraaja song in my voice. I love this song for its peppy beat and riveting melody...
