Temptations....Egg Bondas!

Egg Bondas  (முட்டை போன்டா).  - delightful hot snacks on a cloudy evening along with steaming masala tea!
These are Boiled eggs dipped in spicy bajji batter , deep fried and served with a variety of chutneys or ketchups.
I still vividly remember my first egg bonda  as a kid. We had been to a movie and one of my uncles bought them for snacks during the interval. It was love at first bite ! ;)

Tribal beats...

This video of an Irula tribal girl band is doing the rounds on WhatsApp. The beat and melody are addictive and keeps ringing on my mind. The Malayalam movie ' Ayyiappanum Koshyum' has used the tribal tunes and beats to beautiful effect. Listen to the movie adaptation here.

The Air is clearing up in China, the Dolphins are coming back to the waters of Venice, Otters roam freely in Singapore parks and more stories of wildlife roaming freely in urban areas....as the real virus of this planet is going into temporary lockdown....There is a lesson to be learnt.
