A small regret I have in my life is that I never could fully engage in any sport in my younger days... Both in School and college, I had to shoulder the institution names in Art events.... there were always kids who specilized in sports and hence I never could relish my sporting potential. I was indeed good in athletics, football, cricket, volleyball etc... Occasionally I participated but never seriously enough...
It was only when I had joined for my Masters degree in Anna University that I started freely enjoying my sporting interests. Better late than never! Thats when I discovered my love for Table tennis (which sometimes I play even now).
During my stint at Sobha (my previous company) I never missed an opportunity to participate in corporate Cricket and TT tournaments.

I enjoyed sports at school :-D I used to play cricket as well in the 90s. Cricket is very popular here in Scotland :-D
ReplyDeleteThats so cool 👍
DeleteI"m glad you finally had the opportunity to participate!
ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful that you eventually found joy in sports on your own terms
ReplyDeleteFelicidades. te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteI too am glad that you had the pleasure of joining in with sports. It's never too late.
ReplyDeleteGood of you! At the present time you are a real sportsman.
ReplyDeleteYou got the opportunity, but it didn't grab you at that time doing a lot of sport.
ReplyDeleteI only played basketball 1st year high school, then we moved to another city. I watch some sport, cricket and a little football Australia AFL, and we don't get to see much soccer down here on the TV. I always preferred the Arts at school.
