If you have traveled in Indigo airlines, you might be familiar with their "Concept Sandwiches "! They come in nice colorful boxes with a lot of crap written all over....During long boring flight journeys, when I run out of reading material (ie. usually a News paper), I get desperate to get my hands on something to read...That is the weak moment these boxes are waiting for. You are forced to read what they proudly call "Easy to digest stories"...It's difficult to guess whether their purpose is to amuse or annoy you...The sandwich is usually very good...but once you start reading these stories, you might feel like puking them back into the boxes...If you can read the stories from the photos I have posted , let me know what you think. If you are not able to read, well ...hmmm, you are just plain lucky...
The "creativity" of Indigo doesn't stop with the sandwich boxes....You should see their "super cool" carry bag for sale in their on flight Merchandize. To print the flight safety manual on the carry bags you sell and call it super cool...pure genius!
InDIgOTS!
Are they stories? It is difficult to understand what it is all about :/
ReplyDeleteHe he.. not cool at all.

You've got a 13 year old with a PhD and one little story seems to be about a dwarf sumo wrestler and the other about two boys who appear to have an unhealthy love and jealousy over their mother. lol The bag for sale looks like Ronald McDonald is doing the safety illustrations. What is not to love? Maybe this is an opportunity for an aspiring writer to get a job and change things up a bit.
ReplyDeleteThe Ma story remind me Rajini’s ‘Thee’! The other two are hard to digest. lol
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a silly story, but better than having nothing to read!
ReplyDeleteha! very interesting! and some cool pics from your flying time :) Nice close up of flower too!
ReplyDeleteIs better to have your own favorite books, newspapers and magazines in every flight but anyway is better than having nothing to read !!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend !!!
That's creative marketing ~ I wouldn't mind reading the stories for curiousity ~
ReplyDeleteI will be going by Indigo shortly! I will never try to read the 'stories'! Thank you, Ashok~
ReplyDeleteGood to know! When reality surpasses the imagination!
ReplyDeleteI read the stories but you are right , you shouldn't read this even if you can :-((
ReplyDeleteI am yet to experience this.
ReplyDeleteGood idea - creative! I can't read the stories though.
