  9. Lovely pics of the temple. The golden lotus tank was dry when I visited in October'2011.Looks like there is water now. Pics of gopurams, vimanam,the long corridor are superb. Thanks for sharing !

    The Temple reflects the beauty of 'Meenakshi', the one with fish-like eyes, ie, the daughter of Himalaya, Parvati, the consort of Shiva (of Satyam Shivam Sundaram fame, ie, Sundareshwar...)... and so on...
