The World of Beatrix Potter!

Who doesn't know the mischievous Peter Rabbit?! The visit to the Home of Peter's creator - Beatrix Potter brought the kid out of me. The museum -called 'the world of Beatrix Potter '  in Lake district is a playfully designed exhibition of the characters from Potter's story books...There is also a video presentation of the life and works of Potter. Truly a fascinating experience...for both Nithila and me!

  3. I love Beatrix Potter. My children loved her stories at bedtime. My grandchildren never cared as much for the books, though I made sure each family had a set. Still when I have great-grandchildren I will make sure they have the books also. Everyone should know Lucy, Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, plus Jemimah Puddle Duck, Tommy Brock, Squirrel Nutkin, etc., etc., etc.,..............

    1. yes granny, somehow the younger generation don't have appreciation for this genre of children's literature. They find it too slow maybe...
