I made a short official day trip to Coimbatore (in short Kovai), one of the fast developing cities in Tamil Nadu, last Friday. For lunch, one of the local architect suggested the Kove. I guess the name 'Kove' evolved from the cities short name 'Kovai'. Located at RS puram, the kove is a unique fine dining vegetarian restaurant from the famous restaurant chain Annapoorna.
The interior ambience was pleasantly relaxing with lot of textile prints used on the ceiling and copper elements...a tribute to the two popular industries of this region.

The vegetarian menu was unique with a selection of dishes from many cusinies presented in style. We went for a simple selection as we did not have too much time to experiment. Hopefully next time, I will try to be more adventurous! Its a must try place for vegetarian foodies. The waiters were extremely courteous and the food was worth the money.

This is a beautiful space. I love the ceiling art and the partial carpet, which probably makes it a bit less loud. The food looks delicious! And thanks for coming by with your comments, too!
