While driving from Bangalore to Madurai, we generally cross the Salem belt around lunch time and we always miss good food along this Highway stretch. We tried the Salem Raddison on our way to Madurai and it was a big disappointment. So on our return we wanted to try some place new and randomly chose the Grand Anjappar by G Cube Hotels. It turned our to be a very good experience...quite an unexpected Chettinad cusine in Salem.

It's great to hear that you finally found a delightful dining spot on your journey from Bangalore to Madurai! Discovering Grand Anjappar by G Cube Hotels must have been a pleasant surprise, especially after the disappointment at Salem Raddison. The unexpected Chettinad cuisine, coupled with a pleasant ambiance and excellent service, sounds like the perfect pitstop along the NH stretch.
